Sanisax GmbH is a medical supply store in Dresden with its own workshops for orthopaedic technology, rehabilitation technology and orthopaedic shoemaking. In the orthopaedic technology department, custom-made orthoses and prostheses are produced, including care in paediatric orthopaedics; high-quality materials and brand-name components are used. In rehabilitation technology, wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, seating shells and other aids are manufactured as custom-built solutions and, on request, equipped with computer-assisted communication aids or controllable assistive gripper arms. In orthopaedic shoemaking, custom orthopaedic shoes, special shoes for diabetics and orthopaedic insoles are crafted by hand based on precise measurements and analyses. The family business was founded in 1977 and has operated as Sanisax GmbH since 2016, serving its customers at three locations in Dresden.
