About Schanz Metallbau
Schanz Metallbau e.K. is a long-established metalworking and metal construction company in Stuttgart, founded in 1927 and led since 2024 by master metalworker David Stähler. Its range of services includes steel structures in galvanized or painted finish, custom metal construction, single-item and series production in stainless steel processing, as well as locking and security technology. A particular focus is X-ray room and radiation protection technology for hospitals, including radiation protection shielding, lead walls, load-distributing equipment foundations and heavy-load ceilings. In its own design office, orders from the entire steel and metal sector are advised, planned and designed; assembly is carried out entirely on site. In addition, the company offers service and repair work including testing at the customer's premises. Steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and lead are processed, with stainless steel and non-ferrous metals stored and processed separately from steel.
