Schildecker Transport GmbH, based in Pischelsdorf in Lower Austria, is a logistics provider focusing on tank and silo transport, container trucking with tank and silo containers, and dangerous goods transport (ADR) for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The company operates nationally and across Europe by road and rail; in combined transport it uses its own straddle carrier and its own rail siding. Since March 2019, Schildecker has operated a container depot based on the one-stop-shop principle, in which 20ft to 40ft containers of up to 35 tonnes are transported, cleaned, handled and stored. Since 2009, a tank cleaning facility for trucks, RTCs, IBCs and small containers has been in operation; the service portfolio also includes animal feed transport (GMP+, pastus+) and a discount fuel station. The company is a member of ECTA and VÖTS and is authorised to issue the EFTCO Cleaning Document (ECD).

History
- 1991
Karl and Edwin Schildecker were among the pioneers in drafting a quality manual.
- 1993
In August, the company became the first transport company in Austria to receive the quality certificate from ÖQS.
- 1997
In spring, accreditation according to the SQAS guidelines of CEFIC as the second company in Austria.
