Schoder Kieswerk Baumaschinen GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1964 in Unterthingau in the Allgäu region. For decades the company has been engaged in the trade of used construction machinery; the machines offered are completely reconditioned and repainted. A key focus is the sale of spare parts from a large warehouse of used, reconditioned and overhauled parts for LIEBHERR construction machinery as well as for other manufacturers such as Kaelble, Linde, Hydromatik and Bosch-Rexroth. Through Süd-West-Hydraulik, founded in 1998, hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors are overhauled, in particular mobile hydraulics components for excavators, crawler machines, wheel loaders and aggregates. The company also offers customer-specific modifications of spare parts and maintains an equipment warehouse. Construction machinery and spare parts have been exported worldwide since 2011. The premises in Unterthingau include a workshop, a spare parts warehouse and a museum for the senior boss's collection of vintage vehicles.
