Schreinerei Knoop GmbH was founded in 1999 by Benno and Karsten Knoop in Herten and is a construction and furniture joinery with its own workshop operation. The range of services extends from individual one-off furniture pieces to semi-industrial series production of computer-manufactured precision parts made of wood, solid wood and wood veneer. The core of the workshop is a CNC machining center, a computer-controlled cutting saw and a computer-controlled edge banding machine. In addition to furniture, kitchens, doors and windows (also made of plastic), the company manufactures and installs staircases, wooden floors, contract and shop fittings as well as fences made of wood and galvanized steel. In addition, the company offers services for the housing industry and building owners, including moisture and water damage restoration, mould expert assessments, thermography, leak detection, technical drying, drywall construction and flooring installation. Customers include private customers, housing associations, the hospitality sector, medical practices and commercial construction projects.
