Schuhmacher Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH is a mid-sized family business founded in 1949 and headquartered in Spaichingen (Baden-Württemberg). The company develops and manufactures precision turned parts, ready-to-install functional parts as well as assemblies and complete systems – from prototype and zero or small series through to million-part series. The range of processes includes CNC slide headstock turning (bars up to Ø 65 mm), CNC fixed headstock turning (Ø 32 mm), CNC multi-spindle turning (Ø 35 mm), cam-controlled turning, chuck turning, complex drilling and milling machining on CNC machining centres, linked CNC turn-mill centres for high-volume production, grinding, hard turning, bar grinding, deep-hole drilling (via the partner company B+F Präzisionstiefbohr GmbH & Co. KG), thread rolling, forming and joining. In terms of materials, free-machining steel, stainless steel, tempered steel, case-hardening steel, structural steel and carbon steel, aluminium, brass, titanium alloys and plastics are machined. Finishing, heat treatment, cleaning to VDA Volume 19+ / ISO 16232, laser marking, assembly and logistics (JIT, JIS, Kanban) are part of the complete service. Customers come from the automotive, commercial vehicle, hydraulics, medical technology, mechanical engineering, aerospace and other industries. In addition to the main plant, Schuhmacher Präzisionstechnik CZ v.o.s. produces in Beharovice in the Czech Republic.

Quality and Certifications
Quality assurance is organised in accordance with IATF 16949 and DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and is directly integrated into production (WIM operator self-inspection, CAQ system, statistical process control). The metrology equipment includes 3D coordinate measuring machines, camera inspection systems, eddy-current testing as well as grinding burn testing via Nital etching.
