About SIMTEK
SIMTEK Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH was founded in 1994 and is a central part of the SIMTEK Group, which employs almost 500 staff at six locations worldwide. The company develops, manufactures and distributes carbide precision tools for machining, including turning tools (simturn), milling tools (simmill) and cutting tools (simcut). The standard range comprises around 11,000 tools, from tools for bores from Ø 0.3 mm up to multi-row slot milling cutters with 200 mm diameter. In addition to the standard range, SIMTEK develops customised special tools, 3D-lasered chip-form geometries and patented length-adjustable tool solutions. Cutting materials such as GRADIUM are produced in-house. The group also includes Kaestner-Tools GmbH in Steinbach-Hallenberg with rotating high-performance tools such as drills, countersinks, reamers and milling cutters. SIMTEK is active in more than 50 markets worldwide, including Europe, Turkey, China and the USA.
