About Sinto Advanced Ceramics
Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH (formerly Bosch Advanced Ceramics) is a specialized contract manufacturer of additively manufactured technical ceramics. The company produces high-precision ceramic components to customer data using Vat Photopolymerization (VPP) with the SLA, LCM and LFD processes, including debinding, sintering, quality assurance and optional post-processing such as machining, laser processing, cleaning and functional coating. The material portfolio comprises high-purity oxide ceramics (alumina, zirconia, ATZ, ZTA) as well as aluminum nitride and silicon nitride/SiAlON for demanding applications. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, medical technology, energy technology, semiconductor manufacturing, power electronics and chemical processing. Series production has been running since 2018; since January 2026 the company has belonged to the Japanese Sintokogio Group. The production and development site is located in Immenstadt im Allgäu; relocation to Kempten will take place from November 2026.

Materials and Processes
Aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃)
Versatile oxide ceramic in purity grades from 99.7 % to 99.9 % for a broad range of applications in demanding environments.
Zirconium oxide (ZrO₂)
High-strength oxide ceramic with transformation toughening, combining high fracture toughness and strength.
Alumina-toughened zirconia (ATZ)
Composite ceramic with improved wear resistance, hardness and hydrothermal stability compared with pure zirconia.
Zirconia-toughened alumina (ZTA)
Composite ceramic that significantly increases the strength and fracture toughness of alumina.
Aluminum nitride (AlN)
Combines electrical insulation with high thermal conductivity for thermal management and power electronics; available for feasibility studies, prototypes and projects.
Silicon nitride (Si₃N₄)
High fracture toughness, temperature and thermal shock resistance for mechanically and thermally stressed applications; available for feasibility studies, prototypes and projects.
Silicon aluminum oxynitride (SiAlON)
Material related to silicon nitride with increased chemical resistance, depending on geometry and forming.
Vat Photopolymerization (SLA, LCM, LFD)
Photopolymerization-based 3D printing processes with high resolution and stable, reproducible results for ceramic components.
