About SKAN
SKAN AG, headquartered in Allschwil near Basel, develops and manufactures isolators, aseptic complete systems, cleanroom equipment and decontamination solutions for pharmaceutical and biotechnological production as well as for laboratory and cleanroom applications. The portfolio includes custom-made process and filling line isolators, fill-finish solutions for up to 24,000 objects per hour, transfer systems such as ebeam and AT-Port, RABS, safety cabinets, laminar flow systems, laboratory fume hoods and particle counters. Manufacturing takes place at the Stein (Switzerland) and Görlitz (Germany) sites, producing machinery and apparatus mainly in stainless steel and safety glass as well as plastic parts for single-use systems. SKAN supports systems throughout their entire life cycle: process consulting, engineering with CFD simulations, qualification per IQ/OQ, cycle development, GMP documentation, maintenance and retrofit. The technologies are aligned with EU-GMP Annex 1, FDA and ISO standards and are used in pharma, biotech, ATMP production, hospitals, the food industry and medtech. The Group employs around 1,700 people on four continents.
