Rapid Tooling and Injection Molding from a Single Source
Solidtec GmbH, based in Dieburg, specializes in plastic injection molding for prototypes and small series. At its core is rapid tooling: injection molding tools made from high-strength aluminum alloy, manufactured in the company's own toolmaking shop on 40 HSC machining centers, enabling near-series components from original materials with short lead times. On 30 injection molding machines, the company covers prototype injection molding, small series up to 100,000 parts and more, multi-component injection molding (2K/3K), insert technology, liquid silicone injection molding (LSR) and micro injection molding; in addition, the company offers additive manufacturing (SLA) as well as post-processing and assembly of complete assemblies. Almost all common thermoplastics are processed according to customer requirements, from ABS, PP and PA to high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PPS, PPSU and LCP. The company produces around 2.5 million parts per year and serves automotive, medical technology, electronics, consumer goods as well as niche industries such as furniture, mechanical engineering, sanitary and aviation.
