About us
Sommer Holzwerkstatt GmbH is a carpentry shop in Rifferswil in the canton of Zurich that has been carrying out all joinery work since 1998. The range includes made-to-measure furniture such as tables, chairs, beds and cabinets, interior fitting with kitchens, kitchen appliances, parquet and stairs, as well as outdoor elements such as wooden terraces, privacy screens and seating. Production is predominantly from domestic solid wood, with the products designed together with the customer. In addition, the team advises on surface treatment with oils and waxes and sells a stock range of furniture care products for self-application. The company has been FSC-certified since 2001 and was awarded the special prize for smallest enterprises of the ZKB Sustainability Award for SMEs in 2013. Customers come from the furniture manufacturing and interior fitting sectors; deliveries are made within Switzerland, with free delivery from Fr. 500 within a 10 km radius of Rifferswil.
