Sheet metal processing from a single source since 2004
STAMM Blechtechnik GmbH & Co. KG has been a contract manufacturer specializing in sheet metal processing based in Sonneberg, Thuringia, since 2004. The company produces sheet metal parts and assemblies to drawing or 3D data — from one-off parts and prototypes through to large-scale series. Its range of services includes laser cutting on CO₂ laser technology (5,000 W, working area 3,000 × 1,500 mm), punch-laser combination on the TRUMPF TruMatic 6000, edging and bending, robotic welding (MAG, MIG, TIG) on a CLOOS C30 compact system, as well as manual operations such as drilling, tapping, riveting and spot welding. These are complemented by deburring and edge rounding on a WEBER TT-1P 1350 and roller leveling on an ARKU FlatMaster® 55 125. Materials processed include steel up to 25 mm, stainless steel up to 20 mm and aluminium up to 12 mm; copper is offered via a partner network. The process chain from CAD design and programming, through data checking, to assembly mounting and quality assurance is consolidated at a single site. Customers include the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, electrical engineering, medical technology, plant engineering as well as aerospace. Automated processes, including connection to a high-bay warehouse, enable short delivery times and high volumes.

Materials and processes
Steel
Main material for construction parts, brackets and load-bearing components, laser cut from 0.5 to 25 mm.
Stainless steel
Corrosion-resistant material used e.g. in medical technology and the food industry, cuttable from 0.5 to 20 mm.
Aluminium
Material for lightweight assemblies and housings, laser cut from 0.5 to 12 mm.
Copper
Cutting of copper components is offered via a reliable partner network, since the company's own CO₂ lasers cannot process this material.
Laser cutting (CO₂, 5,000 W)
Non-contact cutting with burr-free edges and tight tolerances on a 3,000 × 1,500 mm working area.
Punch-laser combination (TRUMPF TruMatic 6000)
Combines punching and laser cutting, including cutouts, threads and forming operations, in a single step for small series through to large-scale production.
Edging and bending (TRUMPF TruBend 5130)
Bending length 3,000 mm, press force 1,300 kN, 6 axes for reproducible bent parts up to 15 mm material thickness.
Robotic welding (CLOOS C30, MAG/MIG/TIG)
Automated welding cell for steel, stainless steel and aluminium 1–25 mm in a 2,200 × 1,500 mm working area.
Roller leveling (ARKU FlatMaster® 55 125)
Flattening of laser cut blanks, punched and formed parts made of steel and stainless steel at a 1,250 mm working width.
Surface treatment (WEBER TT-1P 1350)
Deburring and edge rounding in a single pass up to a 1,350 mm working width for improved coating adhesion.

Quality assurance
Quality assurance begins before production with a data check of the design data and accompanies every step of the process through to a documented, customer-specific final inspection prior to shipping. Automated machines from TRUMPF, CLOOS, WEBER and ARKU as well as defined inspection procedures and precision metrology ensure tolerances in the one-tenth-millimetre range and reproducible results from single parts to large-scale series.
