About Steinbeis PolyVert
Steinbeis PolyVert GmbH is a specialist in the development and production of plastic recyclates from post-consumer waste. The company processes polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) into two product lines: CARULAT for industrial serial applications and CARULUX for demanding, visually high-quality applications. The value chain includes sorting with VIS, NIR and AI technology, processing into flakes and pellets, compounding with application-adapted MFI values, and material development of customized recyclates. Every batch is tested in the in-house laboratory for flow behavior, density, color and mechanical properties. Customers come from the packaging, automotive, furniture, household appliance, consumer goods and cosmetics, and construction industries. The company is part of Steinbeis Holding and operates production sites in Völkermarkt (Austria) and Großenlüder (Germany) with a recycling capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year, delivering throughout Europe. Production runs 100% on renewable energy.

Materials & Processes
Polypropylene (PP)
Versatile for injection-molded parts, housings and compounds, standard MFI approx. 10, adjustable up to MFI 60 and beyond.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Available in various MFI ranges, from blow-molded goods (MFI approx. 2) to extrusion-suitable grades (MFI 0–1) for pipes and profiles.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Pellets from Völkermarkt and flakes from Großenlüder, IV values 0.73–0.84, available as non-food and food-grade variants with 100 % PCR.
Polyolefins (PO)
PE and PP fractions that, since 2024, have been precisely separated via a dedicated PO sorting line and processed into high-quality recyclates.
