About Steinhauser Formenbau
Steinhauser Formenbau is a precision mould making company founded in 2011 in Laberweinting (Lower Bavaria). The company specialises in the manufacture of injection moulds for silicone processing, in particular high-precision LSR tools (Liquid Silicone Rubber). All LSR tools are machine-manufactured; in-house developed cold runner technology and needle shut-off systems enable scrap-free production, high thermal stability and fast spare part replacement. The company emerged from the parent business, which produced high-precision parts for special machinery. In addition to mould making, the service portfolio includes machining (milling, turning, grinding, wire and die sinking EDM, CNC deep-hole drilling), an in-house hardening shop as well as measuring and testing. Design is carried out with SolidWorks and Cimatron, CAM programming with Mastercam. In its own technical centre with an ENGEL injection moulding machine, injection trials and 2K projects (liquid silicone/thermoplastics) are realised; the company also supplies turn-key systems including tools and spare parts ex stock.
