Steinmetz Zahntechnik GmbH is a dental laboratory based in Mauer in the Rhine-Neckar district (Baden-Württemberg). The company was founded in 1994 as Homodentatus Zahntechnik GmbH by master dental technician (ZTM) Christoph Steinmetz and Dr. Wolfgang Hoffmann, and today operates as Steinmetz Zahntechnik GmbH under the management of ZTM Bastian Steinmetz and ZTM Christoph Steinmetz. Dental prostheses are manufactured for dental practices, with a focus on ceramic restorations. Particular attention is paid to carving teeth from plaster as the basis of shape design, as well as to the microstructure and surface design of the restorations. Master dental technician Bastian Steinmetz completed a four-week course on this subject at the Osaka Ceramic Training Center (OCTC) under the direction of Kataoka Sensei. The laboratory employs young and experienced, motivated staff and supplies dentists in the Rhine-Neckar region.
