About us
Strolz Mechanik GmbH in Fideris (Graubünden) was founded in 1990 by Peter Strolz as a one-man business and has been the go-to partner for carpentries, timber construction companies and joineries in Graubünden, Liechtenstein and Eastern Switzerland since 1990. The six-person team offers woodworking machines as well as repairs and service for all makes. In the mechanical workshop, custom-made products are manufactured to customer specifications: turned, milled, ground and welded. The offering includes consulting and sales of new and used machines, workshop layout planning, cost estimates, expert appraisals, machine relocations as well as maintenance and servicing of production facilities. Since 2011, the business has been located in a new hall with a mechanical workshop, an extensive selection of new and used machines and a large warehouse for dust extraction materials. In May 2025, Peter Strolz's former apprentice, Silvio Dürr, took over the company and founded Strolz Mechanik GmbH.
