About STRUBL
STRUBL GmbH & Co. KG is a mid-sized, family-owned company in the plastics processing industry headquartered in Wendelstein near Nuremberg. The company manufactures custom films and bags made of PE, PP, LDPE, biobased plastics, recyclates (PCR/PIR) and paper – from in-house film extrusion through flexographic printing and laminating to converting. In addition to flexible packaging, STRUBL develops and builds the Plug&Pack packaging machines (bag sizes 50 x 50 mm to 400 x 800 mm, changeover times under 30 seconds) including feeding, counting and weighing systems in its own tool and machine engineering with 3D CAD. For medical technology and pharma, cleanroom packaging is produced in Class 100,000 (ISO 7), including Cleanzip reclosable zip bags made of food/pharma-grade LDPE. With around 95 employees, approximately 3,000 customers, more than 20,000 customer-specific articles in order-driven production and an export share of 30%, STRUBL serves industries from DIY, hardware and automotive to medical technology, pharma and food.
