About the Sudwerk Brewery
Sudwerk AG was founded in 2011 in Pfäffikon ZH and describes itself as the first craft beer brewery in Switzerland. The brewery produces hand-crafted craft beers according to traditional brewing craftsmanship, each beer with its own flavour profile. The products are made with high-quality ingredients and with loving manual work. Since 1 June 2025, the brewery has been based as part of the Braukollektiv Züri Oberland 'Bei Freunden' at Motorenstrasse 100 in the FBW area in Wetzikon ZH, where it appears together with Brasserie Keller and BeiFreunden. The offering includes sales directly from the brewery, brewery tours with tastings, the rental of beer tap systems including delivery and instruction, as well as a beer stand at the Pfäffikon weekly market. In addition, the brewery regularly organizes the Bierwanderung Zürcher Oberland (beer hike) around Lake Pfäffikon.
