About Swiss Coils SA
Swiss Coils SA is an independent, privately owned company based in Minusio (Locarno) in Ticino, founded in March 2005. The team has more than 50 years of experience in the development and manufacture of coils, tooling and machines. The company develops, newly designs or reworks and produces coils, coil assemblies and coil-related products to customer requirements – from air coils to coils on plastic bobbins to windings on annealed soft iron, ferrite or ceramic cores. Winding wires made of copper, gold, silver as well as alloys or coated wires are processed from 8 µm to 1 mm, also crossover-free and directly on cores from 0.1 mm. The range of services includes simulations, technical drawings, prototyping, small series up to series production (manual, semi- or fully automatic, shift production), core preparation, joining technology (soldering, riveting, thermo-compression, arc and laser welding) as well as finishing such as SMD (Tape & Reel), PCB and Flex-PCB assembly. Customers come from medical technology, Hearing Health, Motion Industry, RFID/NFMI, aerospace and automotive; deliveries are made to Europe, North America and Asia.
