About symex
symex designs and manufactures custom mixing and homogenizing systems delivered as turn-key solutions for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. The product portfolio includes mixing systems for emulsions and suspensions with the Co-Twister rotor-rotor homogenizer, continuous in-line homogenizers with throughputs of up to 16 tons per hour, powder mixers, mobile mixers with the syBot recirculation stirring unit, as well as laboratory mixers with 1 to 4 liters of usable volume for product development and scale-up. In addition, symex supplies raw material and storage containers made of stainless steel as pressure and vacuum vessels with double jacket. The systems feature temperature control systems with a control accuracy of +/- 0.5 °C, vacuum systems for degassing and vacuum drying, fully automatic CIP/SIP cleaning systems with validated cleaning times between 20 and 45 minutes, as well as fully automatic recipe management and process control.
