About Taillens SA
Taillens SA is a bakery, pâtisserie and confectionery company based in Crans-Montana in Valais, founded in 1943 by Oscar and Berthe Taillens. Today the family business is run by the third to fourth generation and employs around 85 to 100 staff year-round in production, sales and service. The artisanal production covers bread and baked goods, pâtisserie, confectionery and chocolate products as well as delicatessen; predominantly fresh ingredients from regional businesses are used and all products are made by hand according to traditional craftsmanship. Under the brand, chocolate varieties are offered, among others, in milk, dark (70%) and white chocolate, as well as limited eco-responsible product editions to use up leftover stock. The company operates six branches in Crans-Montana, Lens and Veyras, including tea-rooms with a menu and breakfast buffet. In addition, Taillens offers a catering service for events, weddings and corporate occasions, including buffet and staff service, equipment rental and delivery in the region.
