About Tanne Kunststofftechnik
Tanne Kunststofftechnik GmbH manufactures plastic parts using the injection molding process in Hunderdorf (Lower Bavaria) and is also a development and toolmaking partner: CAD-based design, mold filling analyses, strength calculations, prototype tools and stereolithography parts are part of the service portfolio. In three-shift operation, injection molding machines with clamping forces of 30 to 350 tonnes are in operation; parts up to a total weight of 1,500 grams are produced. Key areas of focus include multi-component technology (2K and 3K), gas and water internal pressure technology, and hybrid technology, in which plastics are combined with other materials. In addition, plastic joining, the kitting of assemblies and assembly services are offered. The company supplies the automotive, electrical/electronics, mechanical engineering, veterinary medicine, furniture, construction, sports/leisure as well as device and laboratory technology industries. The quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 since 2000.

Materials and Processes
2-component injection molding
Injection molding of two plastics in a single process step; a company specialty since 1999.
3-component injection molding
Since 2022, three plastics have been injected simultaneously together in one production step.
Gas and water internal pressure technology
Process for hollow, large-area parts; know-how implemented in practice since 2003.
Hybrid technology
Combination of plastic with other materials in a single component.
Stereolithography
Additively manufactured prototype parts for validation prior to the production tool.

Quality
The end-to-end quality concept includes FMEA, finite element calculations and mold filling analyses as well as process capability studies. The products are inspected with optical and tactile measuring machines and subjected to continuous SPC with software support; all injection molding machines are connected to a host computer terminal.
