TCmobil GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Remscheid, develops and manufactures the TCmobil ToolConcept, a mobile CNC tool supply system for reducing setup times on CNC machine tools. The mobile supplementary magazine offers 112 tool slots for assembled tools, of which 96 tools are immediately accessible, requiring a footprint of only 0.45 square meters. It is movable in all directions, rotates on the spot, and supports common spindle systems such as SK30/SK40/SK50, BT30/BT40/BT50, HSK50/HSK63/HSK80 as well as Capto and ABS; VDI is available on request. A digital interface with USB charging unit as well as a variant with software (ToolConcept digital) complement the concept. According to the manufacturer, setup times are reduced by 7 to 12 minutes per tool. The system is aimed at companies with high component variety, especially in single-part and small-batch production, sample construction and prototype manufacturing. Patent-pending developments are intended, among other things, to prevent the holders from sticking or jamming in the pockets and to enable interference-free removal of the tools.
