Thermal management as a technology and service group
technotrans SE, headquartered in Sassenberg (Münsterland), is an internationally active technology and service group in the field of thermal management. The company develops and produces application-specific solutions for cooling and temperature control of industrial processes: cooling and temperature control systems, filtration and separation technology, pump and spray systems, cooling systems for laser and medical technology, variothermal temperature control and process cooling for injection molding processing, battery and energy storage cooling for e-mobility, and liquid cooling for data centers. Other areas include water treatment, refrigeration technology with the natural refrigerant R290, and precise medium application systems. The group manufactures at eight production sites in Germany, the USA and China, including lean production for small series with high variant diversity at the Baden-Baden site. In addition to development and production, technotrans offers worldwide services: 24/7 support, remote diagnostics, maintenance, in-house repair, spare parts supply and on-site project management. In fiscal year 2025, the group achieved revenue of 244.0 million euros with around 1,443 employees; the share is listed on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Materials and Technologies
Refrigerant R290 (propane)
Natural refrigerant for energy-efficient refrigeration technology, in use at the Schaeffler plant in Kappelrodeck, among others.
Carbon steel (corrosion-protected)
Used in cooling systems with corrosion-protected systems and inhibitors for mixed-metal systems.
Aluminum components
For system components with special treatment for corrosion protection in cooling systems.
Galvanized piping materials
Used in cooling systems with limited pH value to prevent corrosion.
