About us
TEPROSA GmbH was founded in 2009 in Magdeburg and is a contract manufacturer for laser processing. The company, with more than 30 employees, offers contract manufacturing in the areas of laser cutting of sheet metal and thin-gauge material, metal and sheet metal processing, and 3D-MID technology. The portfolio includes laser cutting of electrical steel, the production and stacking of stator and rotor stacks, the Backlack (self-bonding coating) process, laser engraving and marking, shims, embossing stamps, electrode and battery foils, and cell connectors. In the 3D-MID field, TEPROSA produces three-dimensional circuit carriers through laser direct structuring (LDS), selective plastic metallization, and 3D assembly of components. Customers come from the automotive industry, medical technology, mechanical engineering, the electric motor and e-mobility sectors, as well as the battery and electronics industries. The company manufactures at its headquarters in Magdeburg and, among other things, supplies shim customers worldwide.

Materials & Processes
Laser cutting
Tool-free cutting of sheet metal and thin-gauge material, electrical steel, and foils with high flexibility without toolmaking.
Electrical steel
Material for stator and rotor laminations of electric motors, processed by laser cutting and stacking including the Backlack (self-bonding coating) process.
Sheet metal and thin-gauge material
Basis for precision cutouts, shims, and laser drilling for automotive and industrial parts.
Plastic
Substrate material for 3D-MID circuit carriers, structured by laser direct structuring and selectively metallized.
Laser Direct Structuring (LDS)
Process for producing three-dimensional metallized circuit carriers on plastic components.
Backlack technology (self-bonding coating)
Backlack process for joining electrical steel stacks for electric drives.
Laser marking & engraving
Identification and traceability as well as laser engraving on metal parts.
