About Texmo Blank
Texmo Blank is an internationally active manufacturer of precision investment cast components headquartered in Sheffield (UK) with five locations in the UK, USA, Germany, Romania and India. The company produces complex, high-performance castings in steel, aluminium, cobalt and nickel-based superalloys using both air-melt and vacuum casting. The value chain includes design engineering and casting simulation, rapid, wax-die and metal prototyping, in-house toolmaking, wax injection and ceramic shell building (also automated and with 3D printing of wax patterns), melting and casting via induction, resistance and vacuum systems, heat treatment, post-casting machining, surface finishing as well as assembly and inspection through to smart warehousing and distribution. Producing around 35 million parts per year on 850,000 sq ft of manufacturing space, Texmo Blank serves industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical technology, energy, agriculture, defence, oil & gas and rail. The Riedlingen site (Texmo Blank Germany GmbH, founded 1960) is an end-to-end foundry offering design, casting, finishing and assembly from a single source and operates its facilities with hydropower.
