thermofin GmbH is a manufacturer of heat exchangers headquartered in Heinsdorfergrund, Saxony. The product range includes evaporators and air coolers, condensers/gas coolers, coolers through to power plant coolers, hydro-cooling systems as well as heat exchanger blocks in customer-specific custom designs. Production is mainly in aluminium (AlMg) and stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4404) using processes such as brazing, welding, forming and precision machining of sheet metal and tubes; the headquarters has an in-house powder coating facility, and for enhanced corrosion protection KTL and Heresite coatings are offered. In addition to standard series, the company develops individual custom solutions, including strength calculations and design of pressure equipment in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. The main customer industries are industrial and commercial refrigeration, industrial and process cooling, energy and power plant cooling as well as food production and logistics. Since its foundation in 2002, thermofin has expanded its manufacturing capacities in the Vogtland region several times and today operates production sites in Germany, Argentina, Poland and China as well as a global sales network.
