About us
Theven Zerspanungstechnik GmbH was founded in 2012 by Martin Theven and is a family-run specialist for CNC machining at its site in Viersen-Dülken on the Lower Rhine. The company specialises in machining contract manufacturing of single parts and small series up to 8 tonnes in weight, including large-part and heavy machining of heavy flame-cut blanks on clamping tables up to x=8,000 mm. From heavy flame-cut blanks, the company among other things manufactures bearing housings, torque supports and engine brackets for mechanical engineering and shipbuilding. Further service areas include toolmaking with laminating and bending tools for the automotive industry, design and CNC programming with Mastercam (Step, DXF, PDF, BMP, IPT, STL), jig and fixture building, straightening work, spark erosion and foundry pattern making. Via partner companies as an extended workbench, welded constructions up to 10 tonnes, turning (spindles 50–1,000 mm diameter), sheet metal working as well as surface treatments such as powder coating, painting, anodising and nickel plating are offered; assembly of modules is carried out ready for installation from a single source. The machine park comprises five CNC milling machines in two-shift operation, including Soraluce portal milling machines and MTE machining centres with 5-side machining.
