About THS Technische Textilien
THS Technische Textilien is a manufacturer of technical and industrial textiles for high temperature requirements from -60 °C to 1200 °C. The product range comprises woven fabrics made of fiberglass, silica, ceramic and aramid fibers as well as a growing share of coated and treated fabrics, including silicone and polyurethane rubber and intumescent (fire-expanding) coatings for fire protection applications. The value chain extends from in-house weaving through finishing, laminating and coating to the conversion of thermal protection and fire protection products such as fire and smoke protection curtains, insulation jackets and welding protection. An in-house laboratory at the Elland site develops and tests custom textile coatings. Customers are found in thermal insulation, passive fire protection, welding protection, electronics, industrial composites, petrochemicals, filtration, automotive and aerospace industries. The head office with production is located in Elland (West Yorkshire, UK); the European site of THS Technische Textilien GmbH in Öllingen, Germany, handles warehousing (EU Stockholding) for fast deliveries in Europe.
