TPS Elektronik GmbH, headquartered in Mönchengladbach, is an EMS full-service provider for power electronics. Founded in 2000 as FSP Elektronik GmbH, the company develops and manufactures electronic assemblies and systems, from SMT/THT assembly and box-build system integration through to series production. Its manufacturing portfolio also includes sheet metal fabrication with laser cutting, bending and welding, CNC milling (3- and 4-axis) of parts made of aluminium, copper, steel and plastics, aluminium heat sinks, control cabinet construction, cable assembly, and automatedly manufactured wound components such as transformers, chokes and toroidal coils. Production takes place mainly at the company's own plant of Shanghai TPS Power Electronic Co., Ltd. in Songjiang, China, which is equipped with an SMD assembly line featuring high-speed placement machines, reflow ovens and AOI systems. An in-house EMC laboratory for emission, immunity and ESD testing as well as approvals according to CE, UL, TÜV and VDE round out the range of services. Customers come from power electronics, industrial electronics, automotive, medical technology, energy storage/PV, battery testing technology and data centers; the TPS Group employs more than 120 people and generated revenue of over €15 million in 2022.
