Ulrich Walter GmbH operates the Lebensbaum brand and has been producing tea, coffee and spices in organic quality since 1979. The range includes black, green, herbal and fruit teas as well as filter coffee, espresso, instant coffee and coffee pads, plus spices, spice blends, herbs, salts, salad dressings, organic fix products and toppings. The raw materials are processed gently and promptly directly after harvest; all herbs and spices come without additives such as anti-caking agents. Following the pure principle, the company avoids flavour enhancers and additives. Origin purchasing is done directly from cultivation partners in compliance with human rights and minimum social standards. The company is certified according to EU Organic, Demeter, Fairtrade, FSSC 22000, EMAS and ISO 14001 and employs 130 to 150 staff at the Diepholz site.
