About umdasch The Store Makers
umdasch The Store Makers is an internationally active shopfitter headquartered in Amstetten, Austria, and part of Umdasch Group AG. From a carpentry business founded in 1868, the company developed into a full-range provider for retail solutions: store design, shopfitting, general contracting, shop equipment, digital retail and contract manufacturing. Its own production sites in Leibnitz, Gleinstätten and Litomyšl realise around 8,000 individual projects per year; processed materials include steel, stainless steel, wire, sheet metal, tube, wood, chipboard, glass, acrylic and plastics. Component manufacturing includes tube laser cutting, fully automatic sheet metal processing and CNC bending and winding centres for wire of 4–9 mm; surface technology provides up to 1.2 million m² of powder coating annually. Customers come from food retail, drugstore retail, fashion, automotive and travel retail through to industrial customers. A logistics centre in Hasendorf with 23,000 pallet slots handles assembling, storage and rollout.
