About UTH GmbH

UTH GmbH is a family-owned medium-sized machinery manufacturer headquartered in Fulda. Since 1985, the company has developed and manufactured machines and system solutions for the gentle, clean and precise processing of rubber, silicone and polymers – as standard machines, system solutions or individual special-purpose machines. The core product is the roll-ex® extrusion system with gear pump technology, which operates on the volumetric principle and enables high-pressure applications up to 800 (500) bar. The portfolio includes fine strainers (inline and offline), conical twin-screw extruders and the TRP two-roll plastifier for rework processing with throughputs up to 10,000 kg/h. Customers come from the rubber, tire, silicone, adhesive and sealant industries as well as from polymer recycling. UTH accompanies projects from process conception, through trials in its own Technical Center, to assembly, commissioning and worldwide after-sales service. Around 100 employees work at the Fulda site; subsidiaries in the USA, China and Japan ensure customer proximity at an international level.

Processes and Materials

roll-ex®

Gear Pump Technology

Volumetric conveying for gentle processing of highly viscous materials, independent of back pressure, up to 800 (500) bar.

TRF

roll-ex® TRF (Gear Pump Strainer, inline)

Inline fine straining of rubber compounds for clean rubber and less scrap.

SF

roll-ex® SF (Strainer, offline)

Offline straining depending on installation location and task.

DSE

roll-ex® DSE (conical twin-screw extruder)

Plastification and metering of raw materials into continuous mixing processes.

MDSE

roll-ex® MDSE (modified twin-screw extruder)

Modified variant for special compounding applications.

PDSE

roll-ex® PDSE Extruder

Extension of the twin-screw extruder portfolio.

TRP

TRP Reworker (two-roll plastifier)

Single-stage rework processing of scrap, e.g. in tire manufacturing, with throughputs up to 10,000 kg/h.

Add-on

roll-ex® Add-on Version

Retrofit solution for integrating gear pump technology into existing systems.
