We are BayPapier

BayPapier is the joint umbrella brand of the two Munich-based industry associations VBP (Verband Bayerischer Papierfabriken e.V.) and VBPV (Verband der Bayerischen Papier, Pappe und Kunststoff verarbeitenden Industrie e.V.). The associations represent the social and economic interests of the Bavarian paper and packaging industry, which employs more than 21,000 people in Bavaria, and pool the opinions of more than 130 member companies – from multinational corporations to owner-managed family businesses. The services include political interest representation at state, federal and EU level, labour law advice and litigation representation, labour economics support for shift plan reorganisation, skilled worker retention and recruitment of young talent including an ETAPP-certified partial qualification as a machine and plant operator, purchasing groups as well as industry statistics and networking events. The Bavarian paper mills produce around 5 million tonnes of paper annually, predominantly based on recovered paper (annual demand over 3.4 million tonnes) and wood from certified sustainable domestic forestry. The head office is located in the association house in Munich; at federal level, the VBPV is the largest member association within the Hauptverband Papier- und Kunststoffverarbeitung e.V.
