About SWISS COMBI
W. Kunz dryTec AG, based in Dintikon (Aargau), has been developing and building customer-specific industrial drying systems under the SWISS COMBI brand since 1959. The product portfolio includes the belt dryer for biomass and organic bulk materials such as wood chips, sawdust, grass and alfalfa, the low-temperature belt dryer (NTT) with waste heat utilisation, the indirectly heated ecoDry drum dryer for animal feed and sewage sludge, as well as the ecoFertiliser Plant (eFP) for processing liquid and solid digestate into fertiliser granulate or pellets. The offering is complemented by engineering services (energy optimisation, capacity and performance increases, modular plant extensions), pilot/test systems for drying trials, as well as customer service, maintenance and spare parts distribution. The Swiss family business, now run by the third generation, supplies customers from over 50 countries in industries such as the sugar industry, animal feed, biogas, dairy, ethanol and starch industries, biomass/wood and sewage sludge disposal.

Raw Materials and Products
Biomass (wood chips, forest wood chips, sawdust, planer shavings, wood shavings)
Gentle drying in the SWISS COMBI belt dryer with hot air.
Grass, alfalfa, fodder maize
Raw materials for the production of storable animal feed.
Maize mash, wheat mash
Drying in the ethanol and starch industries, among others with the ecoDry drum dryer.
Sugar beet pulp
Drying in the low-temperature belt dryer (NTT) with waste heat from the sugar production process.
Liquid and solid digestate, press water, slurry, whey digestate
Processing into marketable fertiliser granulate or pellets in the ecoFertiliser Plant (eFP).
RDF / Alternative Fuels (AF)
Refuse-derived fuels as drying material for energetic recovery.
Sewage sludge
Odour-neutral drying in the indirectly heated ecoDry drum dryer.
Pomace (e.g. apple pomace), bagasse, slaughterhouse waste
Organic by-products that are dried into a storable product.

Quality
The quality and suitability of drying for new products are tested in advance under realistic conditions with the company's own pilot dryers (test belt dryer, test ecoDry with superheated steam), usually starting with a 5-kg sample. A dedicated after-sales department, regular inspections with inspection reports and original spare parts ensure long-term plant operation.
