About Us
W. Reuter & Sohn Spitzen und Stickereien GmbH has been producing lace and embroidery in Auerbach-Reumtengrün in Saxony since 1951 and is a licensed user of the Plauener Spitze brand. The family-owned business manufactures machine embroidery for home textiles such as tablecloth, window decoration, and accessories, as well as embroidered fabrics, historical replicas, large-area wall coverings, and personalized textiles. For the further processing industry, technical embroidery is created, such as embroidering wires onto mineral substrates for heating elements or embroidering hoses for cooling. Manufacturing is carried out on a machine park consisting of Saurer embroidery machines (Epoco 6 pro fast, Unica Pentacut) and a ZSK multi-head embroidery automatic machine with 12 embroidery heads; all embroidery-capable materials are processed, including natural silk yarn. Starting with order quantities from 1 piece, our own development department realizes special custom orders from the design idea to the finished product. Delivery is handled via a sales representative network in Germany and Austria, supplemented by factory sales on-site.
