W3 Anwendungs- & Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Gemmingen is a specialist in plastic processing and a company of the KIEFER Group. The company develops, manufactures, and supplies customized plastic solutions—from small electrical components to large parts and pallets. The scope of services includes technical thermoforming (sheet and roll goods), injection molding of small to large series, processing of PE/PP foam films and sheets, as well as transport trays, sorting and intermediate inserts, stacking pallets, fixtures, and protective casings. The origin and core of the company is its own mold and tooling manufacturing with state-of-the-art machining centers for precision tools. This is supplemented by design and product development (CAD/CAM), rapid prototyping with 3D printing, test runs and zero series, as well as manufacturing and finishing. On 2,000 m² of production and storage space, there are 3 thermoforming machines for sheet goods and 6 machines for roll goods. The target industries are automotive/vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, as well as packaging and logistics.
