Wälti Luft- und Klimatechnik AG – Edelstahlcenter is a Swiss family-run company headquartered in Gstaad with production in Matten (St. Stephan) in Berner Oberland. The company designs, manufactures, and installs ventilation and air conditioning systems for commercial, catering, residential, and industrial use, and also offers custom metalwork, exhaust, extraction, and lightning protection systems as well as maintenance and service. Stainless steel and sheet metal processing is carried out in-house: CNC punching on a Trumpf machine with a plate size of 1500×3000 mm, CNC trimming up to 4100 mm with 125 tons of pressing force, shears up to 6 mm material thickness, TIG/WIG welding, electric resistance welding, and rounding and folding. We process chromium-nickel steel up to 4 mm, aluminum up to 6 mm, steel up to 6 mm, as well as copper, zinc, and galvanized iron for metalwork. As a supplier to mechanical engineering, the company manufactures sheet metal components such as catchment basins, electrical enclosures, and cladding according to drawings; in kitchen and interior construction, polished chromium-steel components such as furniture fronts and covers are produced. The company employs 14 staff members plus an apprentice and operates locally, nationally, and internationally.
