About the WALLRAM Group
The WALLRAM Group is an internationally active group of companies headquartered in Herborn (Hesse) producing precision tools for metal forming (metal-forming tooling). Its core business comprises the manufacture of high-precision tools primarily for the metal packaging industry (can tooling) as well as the development and construction of CNC cylindrical grinding machines by the Italian group member Lizzini (WALLRAM Grindtec). Tools are mainly made from tungsten carbide and ceramics. At the German site in Herborn, the group also manufactures die-working machines for the wire and cable industry. Production sites in Germany (Essen), Poland (Kraków, WALLRAM CTE) and the USA (Colorado Springs) serve, among others, the can industry with special tools and regrind services; sales locations exist in Brazil and China. The group also includes mechanical engineering, engineering, design and a regrind/retipping service for tools.
