About WASTEC
WASTEC Wasserstrahlschneidtechnik GmbH, based in Zaisenhausen (Baden-Württemberg), has been manufacturing parts using 2D and 3D waterjet cutting since 1991, both pure waterjet and abrasive cutting at pressures of up to approx. 4,100 bar. On 2,000 m² of production space, ten waterjet cutting systems are available, including a CNC 3D abrasive system with a 4.0 m × 2.0 m working area and bevel/3D cuts up to 57° as well as a 5-axis system. Virtually all materials are cut – steel, stainless steel (0.10–100 mm), titanium, aluminium composite panels, CFRP, GRP, plastic, glass, stone and special materials – cold and without heat influence with tolerances down to approx. ±0.1 mm. Originating from tool and jig making (1983), in-house mechanical machining enables cutting fixtures to be produced independently and complete manufacturing from a single source. The service portfolio includes prototypes, individual parts, series and contract manufacturing for industries such as aerospace, automotive, mechanical engineering, energy, medical technology and the packaging industry. The company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2003.
