About us
Wegen GmbH, based in Königswinter, was founded in 1973 by Alfons Wegen and began with flexible rubber products for the bulk materials industry, initially as home-based work in a garage. Today the company is a holistic partner in plant engineering for the handling of free-flowing and strongly adhering bulk materials. Under the protected ROWEFLEX brand, the company develops and manufactures customized solutions such as flexible containers, hose and vase compensators, 2-way diverter valves, scale compensators and sealing systems. Production covers rubber manufacturing, metalworking, sewing and electrical assembly; more than 45 proprietary elastomers of the ROWEFLEX material family are kept in stock. The entire value stream – from planning and design through prototype construction, production and assembly to test runs, commissioning and spare parts supply – is covered in-house. An in-house test center is used to test complex plants for specific material properties. Core industries include food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, rubber/tires, defense and plastics. The products are exported to over 60 countries.
