About Wehl Group Sintertechnik

Founded in 2003, Wehl Group Sintertechnik GmbH in Salach is a service provider operating throughout Europe for prototypes, first samples and pre-series parts. Its service portfolio includes Selective Laser Sintering on three EOS sintering systems, 3D printing using the PolyJet process, vacuum casting and RIM via silicone molds, and CNC machining on 16 milling and two turning machines in metal and plastic, including magnesium alloys. In its in-house toolmaking, both cast prototype molds made of aluminum-filled epoxy resin and milled tools made of aluminum or hardened steel are designed and operated; injection molding is performed on two Arburg machines with 35 t and 85 t clamping force. Stereolithography models are produced at a partner company in Spain, while vacuum casting is handled by a long-standing partner in Zimmern near Rottweil. In this way, the company serves all industries that require design, engineering, development and prototype construction, from idea to production readiness.
