About us

Wehrs IBV Engineering GmbH, formerly Ingenieurbüro Voß, is an internationally active engineering office based in Hamburg, operating since 1992. The company implements automation tasks in plant engineering, including the automation of steam turbines, conventional power plants, Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) and Chemical Injection Units (CIU) for the oil and gas industry, as well as SCR systems, waterworks and pumping stations. The range of services includes basic and detail engineering, electrical engineering design including control cabinet planning, PLC and process control system software (Siemens Simatic, PCS7, TIA, WinCC as well as Mitsubishi A-/Q-series), process visualization, archiving, project management, control cabinet testing, and national and international commissioning – also virtualized with the process simulation WinMOD. A key focus is power plant control engineering: since 1992, control engineering planning and/or commissioning has been carried out for more than 100 turbo sets, both in new construction and in service. Clients include Siemens AG, Alstom Power, GE Power, ABB, Actemium Cegelec and Bilfinger Maintenance. The project portfolio ranges from large power plants to waste and biomass combined heat and power plants and subsea production systems.
