Weig Packaging GmbH & Co. KG (formerly FK Fürther Kartonagen GmbH & Co. KG), based in Mayen, specializes in the development and manufacture of fiber-based folding cartons for branded and private-label products. The product range includes packaging solutions for dry, chilled and frozen foods, fruit and vegetables, beverages, chocolate and confectionery, cosmetics and personal care, cleaning agents, as well as shelf-ready packaging and household goods. At its own plant in Emskirchen, the company operates a carton factory with an offset printing shop; the process chain covers offset printing, die cutting and gluing. The basis is fiber-based recycled cardboard products from the company's own fiber base of the WEIG GROUP, so carton manufacturing and packaging production are closely integrated. The team supports customers from the design and development of the packaging through to series production. In addition to the plant in Emskirchen (Industriestraße 3), the administration is located at the headquarters in Mayen (Polcher Straße 113).
