About WENZ
WENZ Kunststoff GmbH & Co. KG is a system supplier for plastics peripherals based in Lüdenscheid. Founded in 1997, the company develops and manufactures systems and components for plastic injection molding, including two-zone compressed-air granulate dryers (qip®), variothermal and isothermal temperature control units, coupling stations for central material supply, vacuum pumps, separators, dosing and conveying systems, cooling and descaling units, and central control systems for Industry 4.0. In addition to its own product development with twelve patents, WENZ offers manufacturer-independent maintenance and repair, retrofitting of existing systems, efficiency analyses, training (WENZ CAMPUS) and C-parts management (WENZ STOCKCAR). Customers come from plastics processing and plastic injection molding. The 20-strong team works at the Hueckstraße 8–10 site in Lüdenscheid, where the workshop and shop are also located. 80% of the company fleet consists of electric vehicles, which are charged with solar power from the company roof.
