About us
Peter van Kempen GmbH from Hildesheim has been developing, designing and manufacturing tools, jigs and prototypes for the manufacturing industry since the 1960s. The range of services in toolmaking includes forming tools such as punching, drawing and metal spinning tools as well as primary forming tools such as mould making, foundry tools and plastic injection mould tools. In jig engineering, clamping, welding and turning fixtures are built with electric, hydraulic or pneumatic drives, predominantly hydraulic clamping fixtures for machining centres. Custom-made products and tools are manufactured to customer drawings or in-house designs in AutoCAD. Production is mostly CNC-controlled, complemented by wire EDM and rapid prototyping processes; every tool is a one-off. Customers include companies from the automotive industry and their suppliers as well as from sectors such as apparatus engineering, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace and the packaging industry. Since the end of 2013, the company with ten employees has been located in the industrial area of Hildesheim.
