About the WKP engineering office
The WKP engineering office was founded in 1998 in Berlin by graduate physicist Werner Kaspari and operates as a service company in the fields of radiation protection and radiation measurement technology. The office assists in solving radiation protection and radiological tasks related to the handling of artificial and natural radioactive substances as well as sources of ionizing radiation. The range of services includes consulting, expert assessments and condition analyses, the planning of radiation protection monitoring systems, nuclear medicine facilities and decay storage facilities, licensing documentation, radiation protection instructions, shielding and dispersion calculations, radiation protection measurements, personnel training, construction supervision and support during commissioning. Customers come from nuclear technology, medicine, research and industry. Before founding the office, owner Werner Kaspari worked, among other things, on the construction of the Greifswald and Stendal nuclear power plants and on EU projects, including the Chernobyl Shelter Implementation Project.
