About us
Werner Winter GmbH is a medium-sized scrap and metal wholesale company based in Rheine in the Münsterland region, founded in 1970 by Werner Winter. On its approx. 45,000 m² site, incoming scrap and metal materials are separated by grade, processed and worked by trained skilled personnel and then delivered as raw material directly to steel mills, foundries and metal smelters. The company handles around 180,000 tonnes of scrap and metals annually. Processing includes steel scrap (including HMS 1/2, grades E2, E3, E5, E8, DB rails and sleepers), foundry material as well as sorted and analysed non-ferrous metals. In addition, industrial demolition and dismantling, a container service and material handling with storage yard and harbour ship loading are offered. Logistics is carried out with an own vehicle fleet as well as by ship and rail.
