About WIBRA Formenbau

WIBRA Formenbau GmbH is a tool and mold making company based in Lüdenscheid. The company manufactures injection molds for thermoplastic and thermoset processing weighing up to approximately 3 tonnes, including two-shot injection molds, injection-compression molds and gas-assist injection molds. Its range of services covers the new manufacture of prototype and production tools, tool modifications, maintenance and repair (including third-party tools), production tool refinement (T0/T1 readiness), as well as the construction of jigs and fixtures up to 600 x 500 mm and 1.2 t. Design and injection molding/fill simulation (CimatronE, CADMOULD) are performed in-house. Machining services include conventional and CNC milling (5-axis HSC), drilling, turning, grinding, sinker EDM with graphite and copper electrodes as well as wire EDM. The tools produce, among other things, for the electrical, cosmetics, furniture, household goods and automotive industries. WIBRA is part of Prange Beteiligungen AG and sources 100 % CO₂-neutral green electricity. For molds exceeding 50 t, the company cooperates with its sister company Zimmermann Formen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH.
