Wichmann & Ullrich GmbH is a manufacturer based in Bremen of custom heat exchangers made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant steel. For over 50 years, the company has been developing thermal solutions for smoking, drying, heating and cooling foods such as meat and sausage products, fish, poultry, cheese, convenience food as well as vegan and vegetarian products and pet food. In addition, the company supplies cooling systems for construction machinery and thermal solutions for other industries. Production is carried out entirely in-house as so-called grey manufacturing: from material selection through welding, bending and punching techniques to final assembly. A precise manufacturing process with reduced weld seams is intended to increase structural robustness and minimize the risk of leaks and corrosion. The company provides advice on technical and legal matters, optimizes heat exchangers from other manufacturers, and produces reproductions based on encrypted stored inventory data.
